A UK initiative of the Confederation of Passenger Transport, CoachMarque assures the customer of a guaranteed quality of service.
Celebrating the award are CoachMarque representatives Ken Huetson and Brian Hirst; Trevor Burgess, Mark Brook and Courtesy Group's Kevin Maddock. In the coach is Steve McLean.

Operators must pass a strict quality and comfort check year on year. Speaking from the Palm Business Centre, Stock Lane, Chadderton - headquarters of Courtesy Coaches - director Mark Brook said: "2002 was our 30th year of trading. To achieve the status, operators must ensure:
• All vehicles have seatbelts.
• 75% of the fleet is under 10 years old.
• There is an efficient procedure for dealing with complaints.
• A high standard of customer service.
• Approved high quality staff and driver training programmes.
• Full compliance with financial protection legislation.
